Cowes Enterprise College - When will it open?

students jump as foundations from beneath them collapse
This week Isle of wight council bosses revealed that it's still unknown when the new £32 million Cowes Enterprise College building will open. The school was supposed to have opened last September but, following the repeated delays and setbacks, the trust that runs the school said students would not move in during the current academic year, as this may disrupt their education. To be honest, I think they may have disrupted it so much that students don't care anymore, the constant sound of construction in the background as you're trying to learn? Definitely a danger to the student's education. Still at least they have a reason other than that they were bored to not listen to the teacher.

Further still, there's no guarantee it will open in September! If I were a Cowes student, I'd consider moving school; at least at the other island school's you don't have to wear a high visibility jacket and a safety helmet when you want to go to the toilet.
